Cardiovascular Safety Outcomes
Trial presented at the American
College of Cardiology meeting in
Washington DC.
Alogliptin is the first and only
DPP-4i to demonstrate CV safety
outcomes in Type 2 diabetes
patients with recent acute coronary
syndrome (ACS).
Prof Henry Krumm, Monash
University, Melbourne and the
Georgia Institute, Sydney, said the
new data generally supported the
CV safety of alogliptin in high risk
