NSW PSA president John Bronger
has written to state health minister
Jillian Skinner, who in response
has given qualified support
for pharmacists to be able to
administer influenza vaccines.
According to today’s Financial
Review, Bronger was pushing for
pharmacists in NSW to begin giving
vaccines before the trial planned
for Qld even begins.
Skinner said NSW Health
“supports pharmacists being
included in immunisation service
delivery models in principle,” but
any changes are likely to wait until
