A NEW review paper out of Linus
Pauling Institute, Oregon State
University, USA, has identified
flawed approaches in studies
investigating the role of vitamin C in
human health.
Published in Nutrients, the
review article referencing 139
scholarly papers, highlights “several
flaws in study design endemic to
randomised controlled trials and
other human studies” in such a way
as to limit their conclusions and
impact.
The paper also makes reference to
“anecdotal evidence of positive and
negative health effects of vitamin C
that are widely accepted but have
not been substantiated.”
