it is safe at current levels.
Available in Europe since the
1980’s, aspartame has repeatedly
come under challenge with stories
around its potential as a carcinogen.
Since 2002, EFSA has kept the
safety of aspartame under regular
review and its Scientific Panels have
issued several opinions on studies
related to this sweetener, including
