The Advanced Pharmacy Practice
Framework Steering Committee
(APPFSC) has commenced a project
which maps Australian pharmacists’
competencies to those of other
authorised immunisers, as part of a
request by the Pharmacy Board of
Australia to develop a framework

At the most recent APPFSC
meeting in June the committee also
confirmed that it’s commenced a
review of the customised tool of
entry-level competency standards,
as well as progressing the next
stage of work to establish an
advanced pharmacy practice
recognition model.
The outcomes of the advanced
pharmacy practice survey have also
been analysed, with a manuscript
being prepared for publication. The above article was sent to subscribers in Pharmacy Daily's issue from 13 Aug 13 To see the full newsletter, see the embedded issue below or CLICK HERE to download Pharmacy Daily from 13 Aug 13
