of one of its PAC10 presentations
which provides a critical appraisal
of drug company promotional
techniques.
Led by Dr Ken Harvey of the
School of Public Health, La Trobe
University, the session will look into
the inherent conflict between the
legitimate business goal of drug
companies to maximise profit and
the medical/social/economic needs
of the health care professions, as
well as governments and
consumers.
