THE ACCC has green lit the new
Medicines Australia Code of Conduct
which came into effect this month.
The new code aims to provide
greater transparency surrounding
payments to healthcare professionals.
As such member companies must
now report: all payments made to
health professionals for advisory
boards and consultancy
arrangements, all sponsorships for
attendance at medical conferences
and educational events, payments
made to speakers at educational
events, and all sponsorships of all
