SUPERMARKET giant
Woolworths has cancelled the
registration of a trademark it first
lodged in 2003.
The ‘Pharmacist@Woolworths’
and ‘Pharmacist at Woolworths’
trademarks were formally accepted
by IP Australia in Apr 2004 and
then registered in Aug of that year.
Both have now been cancelled,
with the Guild saying it “may only
be a coincidence that this has
come to light so soon after the Fifth
Agreement reaffirmed the
Ministerial Determination
prohibiting pharmacies within
