THE US Food and Drug Administration has issued a consumer-level warning about liquid drug and dietary supplement products manufactured by Florida-based PharmaTech LLC.
Brands covered include Rugby Laboratories, Leader Brands and Major Pharmaceuticals, with the FDA warning of potential contamination with the bacteria Burkholderia cepacia (B.cepacia) and the risk for severe patient infection as a result.
