ROUND Health, a company which has developed a pill bottle that lights up and sends a push notification to patients when they are due to take their medication, has been acquired by US-based Alto Pharmacy, which specialises in prescription deliveries.
Round Health was founded by two former Apple engineers, and works by integrating an app with the Round Bottle to simplify the management of medications.
It allows users to set schedules, doses and refill reminders and also links to smart watches to help improve adherence.
