15 new medication-related
recommendations, apart from
those made by the Society of
Hospital Pharmacists of Australia
(SHPA) (PD 16 Mar).
Seven comments relate to
antibiotics use in otitis media,
bacteriuria, leg ulcers and upper
respiratory tract infections.
The use of antipyretics to treat
fever and anticoagulants in venous
thrombotic events were also among
the new recommendations.
