Far North Queensland is preparing
for the expected legalisation of
medical marijuana by purchasing a
range of cannabis-related domain
names.

Tablelands told the Cairns Post that
marijuana clearly has applications
for the health sector, with clinical
trials being undertaken in several
states and plans to allow medical
marijuana manufacturing in
Australia announced by Health
Minister Sussan Ley.
Domain names purchased by
Hope include medicalweed.com.au
and meed.com.au, with plans to
start selling cannabis online if it is
decriminalised for use by chronic
pain sufferers or people with drug
resistant epilepsy.
He said he was also hoping to
dispense medical marijuana directly
from his pharmacy if the substance
