Boehringer Ingelheim (BI) has released in Australia its Antistax leg health supplement for the treatment of “tired, heavy, achy, swollen legs”, available only through pharmacy. The product uses a blend of red vine leaf extract which BI says helps to promote healthy leg circulation, reduce lower leg swelling, relieve tired, heavy, aching legs and manage the symptoms of varicose veins. The launch is supported by television advertising, online, instore point of sale, detailing and staff training, the company said.
