Valeant sells Hamilton brand to Key Pharmaceuticals.
Key Pharmaceuticals has just announced the acquisition of the Australian skin and sun care brand Hamilton from Valeant International.
The company’s ceo Clive Addison said the move was a significant step for Key Pharmaceuticals.
“The Hamilton range enhances Key’s depth in the dermatology category and extends our reach in critical consumer products and markets,” he said.
“Hamilton is a strong addition to our expansive portfolio of other well-known brands including Blistex, OsteVit-D, Tiger Balm, Ear Clear and NeutraLice,” Addison added.
He said that Key Pharmaceuticals plans to expand the Hamilton range with “new, innovative products tailored to Australian consumers’ needs,” while distribution synergies will strengthen both ranges and underpin the company’s “leadership in OTC pharmaceuticals.”
