PD breaking news – API requests trading halt

API to make announcement about carrying value of assets.

Australian Pharmaceutical Industries Limited (API) has requested a trading halt of securities, pending an announcement relating to the carrying value of its assets.

The company (ASX: API) said the announcement came as part of finalising its half year results, which would be released on 30 Apr.

API said it expected to make the announcement before trading begins on Wednesday. The trading halt would remain in place until then, or until the announcement was made and API requested it be lifted.
