HF urges flu shot

PEOPLE at high risk of heart disease are being urged by the Heart Foundation (HF) to get the flu shot based on research suggesting it could halve their risk of heart attack. Evidence demonstrated that those at risk who caught the flu were less likely to suffer a heart attack if they had been vaccinated, HF said.
