FX medicine portal
December 1, 2015
A new online gateway to
“evidence-based complementary
and integrative medicine” has
launched, with aspirations to
provide a trusted reference library
for Australian health professionals.
Dubbed FX Medicine, the portal
has been “developed to provide
consumers and practitioners alike
with a trusted source of integrative
medicine research and practical
information,” according to the
company’s Head of Education,
Danny Urbinder.
He said many people turn to the
internet for health information but
the plethora of inaccuracies make it
difficult to know what to believe.
“All information presented on FX
Medicine is written and researched
by a team of qualified health
professionals,” he said, with the
site also overseen by a scientific
advisory board made up of experts
including Australia’s Dr Mark
Donohoe, integrative medicine
doctor and nutritional biochemist
Dr Robert Buist.
