THE International Pharmaceutical Federation overnight announced the resignation of its chief executive officer, Luc Besancon.
Besancon has "decided to pursue other leadership roles in the global health arena," and will step down from FIP effective 01 Feb 2017.
FIP president Carmel Pena has formed a transition team to guide a global search for the new ceo, while at the same time "maintaining a stable and effective organisation".
