FDA ticks Repatha

Following Europe’s approval of Repatha (evolocumab) to help manage cholesterol (PD 25 Jun), the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has now approved the PCSK9 inhibitor to treat certain patients with high cholesterol, especially those with familial hypercholesterolaemia or atherosclerotic CV disease.
