THE European Medicines Agency
(EMA) and the US Food and
Drug Administration (FDA) have
released a draft joint proposal to
facilitate clinical investigation of
new medicines for the treatment of
Gaucher disease in children.
The proposal looked at the
extrapolation of efficacy from
adults to children, in order to avoid
unnecessary studies in children, as
well as other measures.
