Ah, the miracle of painkillers
- something Timberwolf, a very
lucky koala, is probably very
thankful for, having been found
clinging to the bottom of a car
which had just travelled 88km
down the 110 km/h Queensland
highway toward Gympie.
According to IOL News, the
desperate little marsupial latched
onto part of the substructure
after being struck by the vehicle
with the occupants totally
oblivious to his plight.
Local Australia Zoo wildlife
hospital veterinarians
administered painkillers
(unspecified) for the only very
lightly injured animal - the only
visible problem being a torn nail.
Timberwolf will be repatriated
into the wild upon recovery, the
publication reported - hopefully
without a further need for NSAID
administration.
DETTOL or fist bump.
If you notice customers buying
large quantities of hand sanitiser
from your pharmacy, you could
also suggest that they fist bump
rather than shake hands.
According to research out of
Wales, shaking hands transfers
more bacteria than a fist bump
(for those who aren’t hip to the
jive, that’s where people touch
their fists together).
The research found that
handshakes allowed greater
transferral of germs.
