IT IS often said that when twins are born, one baby is slightly more mature than the other.
One twin recently born in California will have major bragging rights in that regard because he was born a year before his twin sister - technically.
Joaquin Jr. Ontiveros was the last baby born in 2017, entering the world at 11:58pm, while his sister Aitana de Jesus Ontiveros arrived 15 minutes later.
No doubt it will be a tough life for the younger sister who has already been earmarked for her brother's hand-me-downs.
