DOCTORS prescribing medicinal cannabis can now navigate the "regulatory maze" via a new online resource called CannabisAccess.
The site at cannabisaccess.com.au provides a central repository of reference material on cannabinoids and lists products approved by the Office of Drug Control for import.
It also describes the regulatory landscape and the approvals and authorisations that need to be sought at both federal and state levels to allow prescribing.
CannabisAccess ceo Giles Craig said his team had already helped many doctors obtain approval from the TGA to prescribe medicinal cannabis under the Special Access Scheme Category B.
