THIS week pharmaceutical researchers from across the country are gathering in Melbourne for the AusBiotech conference. About 1400 delegates are in attendance, with a key conference agenda being supporting the viability and competitiveness of the biotech and healthcare industries. Today the launch session will include a presentation by Dr Richard Barker from Oxford University on commercialisation of medical innovation, while later in the week the conference will look at such topics as stem cell therapy and “doing business in India”.
