Pharmacy Daily | Bio-organics ticked off

THE Bio-Organics range of Super Fish Oil products is now endorsed by the National Heart Foundation to carry the ‘Heart Health’ stamp of approval - with pharmacists urged to capitalise on the move as “another opportunity to engage with premium customers”. The endorsed range includes Super Fish Oil (liquid and capsules) and Super Liquid Fish Oil Heart, with Sanofi Consumer Healthcare spokesman Luke Fitzgerald saying the move follows independent quality testing of the products. This proved that they always contain a minimum 300mg of combined omega-3 EPA/DHA per dose, always contain the levels outlined on the pack and retain these levels throughout their shelf life without degradation - and they also fully comply with safety levels for heavy metals. As well as being one of only two fish oil brands to contain the Heart Foundation stamp of approval, Bio- Organics is available exclusively via the pharmacy channel. Fitzgerald said Sanofi research had shown that Bio-Organics consumers are loyal to their brand and “two thirds will leave a pharmacy if their chosen product is not stocked”.
