THE Australian College of Pharmacy has announced a new CPD seminar on Pharmacy Controversies, which will take place at Brisbane's Rydges Hotel Southbank on Sat 16 Sep 2017.
Topics on the agenda include potential pharmacist involvement with medical cannabis, proposals to move PDE-5 inhibitor erectile dysfunction medicines to S3, blood glucose monitor accuracy and "life after S3 codeine".
"This seminar will shock you, make you think and allow you to voice your opinions," the promotional blurb promises.
Presenters for the event will include Aaron D'Souza, Karalyn Huxhagen and Brett Macfarlane, and the event will also feature a panel discussion, moderated by College president Georgina Twomey.
Attendance costs $99 for ACP members (or $149 for non-members) including the workshop, lunch, afternoon tea and networking drinks afterwards.
